Prayer submissions are anonymous
We do not ask for or store a name, email address, phone number, or street address with a prayer. The only optional detail is a city and state, which you may leave blank. Please do not include identifying details about yourself or other people in the prayer text.
Accounts
An account is only needed to pray for submitted prayers. We store your email address (used solely for sign-in and password reset), your time zone, and the dates on which you prayed. Emails are never shown publicly, and no one can see who prayed for a given prayer.
Moderation
Submissions are reviewed. Anything abusive, hateful, spammy, or unsafe is hidden from members. Submissions are rate limited to discourage abuse. Hidden prayers are retained for review rather than immediately destroyed.
Public counter
The number on the home page counts prayer actions — how many times members have prayed for a submitted prayer. It contains no personal information.
